Welcome to the Scottish Branch of the OMRS.

Monthly meetings are held in Whitefoord House at the foot of Edinburgh’s Royal Mile on the first Saturday of the month from 1.30 till 4.30, with the exception of January, July and August. Due to popular demand we have increased our meetings to include December and this has been a success from an attendance point of view. The format is generally ‘Members’ Own’ and in addition there is always a Q&A session on research. Any member in the area wishing to attend will be made welcome. Please contact the Secretary.
Numbers have been encouraging this year with an increase in members.
Room rental is always a problem in central Edinburgh however we have been fortunate to attract sponsorship from a local businessman who is one of our members.
