Convention Parking

Our recomendations for parking in Nottingham depend on what you are going to do at Convention:

If you intend to come for the whole weekend we recommend staying at the Convention hotel, Crowne Plaza Nottingham, where as part of the package we have negoitiated free parking for the weekend.

If you are coming for the weekend, but are not staying at the Convention hotel, the picture is more complex. Most hotels have very limited onsite parking and prices typically start at around £12/day. Once their own car parks are full, hotels typically recommend the use of nearby NCP or QPark car parks where they may have arranged a special rate. We recommend asking about parking when booking your hotel, as the additional parking costs can wipeout the benefits of obtaining a cheap rate on the accommodation.

If you are not going to stay in Nottingham when attending Convention, or are day-running on either Saturday or Sunday, we recommend where possible using the tram Park & Ride. Parking at the park and ride car parks is free and with a special event tram ticket the tram is only £2 return. An additional benefit of using the tram is that it avoids navigating Nottingham's one-way system.

Parking at the Nottingham Conference Centre: Members who need to drive into the NCC, the NCC has discounted parking rates with Q-Park Talbot Street of £7.50/8 hours and £9.50/24 hours.

There are number of spaces available for Blue Badge holders - please contact the NCC to discuss how to use these.
